About Adhesives and Food Safety Adhesive products are used in everyday items that we all use every day, but most of us don't take the time to think about the technology involved with different types of adhesives , glues, and sealants. Manufacturing companies are often presented with needs for specialized adhesive products for use in packaging. For example, the glue used in the packaging food products requires an approval from the FDA.
